About Setting the DWF File Compression
By default, the DWF files that you create are in a compressed binary format. This
is the recommended output for most DWF files.
The compression does not result in any loss of data; this is the recommended output
for most DWF files. You can also create zipped ASCII encoded 2D stream (plain text)
files. You specify these settings when you create or edit a DWF configuration file.
