About Cursors in the Drawing Area

As you work, the cursor changes to reflect your current activity.

In the drawing area, the appearance of the cursor changes:

  • If you are prompted to specify a point location, the crosshairs cursor is displayed.
  • If you are prompted to select an object, the cursor changes to a small square called
    a pickbox.
  • When no command is active, the cursor is a combination of the crosshairs and pickbox.
  • If you are prompted to enter text, the cursor is a vertical text entry bar.

You can change the size of the crosshairs and pickbox cursors on the Selection and
Display tabs of the Options dialog box (OPTIONS).
