About Creating Baseline and Continued Dimensions

About Creating Baseline and Continued Dimensions

Baseline dimensions are multiple dimensions measured from the same location. Continued
dimensions are multiple dimensions placed end to end.

You must first create a linear or angular dimension before you create baseline or
continued (chain) dimensions. By default, baseline and continued dimensions start
with the most recently created dimension in the current session.

TIP:After selecting a linear or angular dimension, you can hover an endpoint grip of a
dimension line to access the Baseline and Continued commands from the grip menu.
