To Extract Curves from Surfaces, Solids, and Faces of Solids
Extract lines, plines, splines, or arcs from surfaces and the faces of solids in either
the U or V directions.
- Click Surface tab
Curves panel
Extract Isolines. Find
- Select a surface, solid, or face.
- Click to extract an isoline curve represented by the preview line.
Curves are extracted in the U direction by default.
- If necessary, enter D the direction in which the curves are detected.
Continue clicking points on the surface, solid, or face to extract more curves.
- Press Enter to end the command.
