Material Attachment Options Dialog Box
Associates materials with layers.
When you use Attach by Layer (MATERIALATTACH), you can quickly assign a default material
to each layer.
Objects with a Material property setting of BYLAYER are displayed with the material
specified for the layer.
List of Options
The following options are displayed.
- Material Name

Lists all the materials Document Materials panel of the Materials Browser. Drag a
material onto a layer in the Layer list to attach the material to that layer. - Layer and Material List

Lists all layers in the drawing and in any external references attached to the drawing.
The material thumbnail shows which material has been associated with the layer. Click
